Seems the perk system is causing a ruckus at this point. Especially about the F4U1c. I suggested a very easy implementation to help balance gameplay and that was rationing of airplanes.
Simple plan: Ration (or limit) the number of upcoming super-uber-planes at each field. Then when a team-member gets shot down, his plane becomes available for the next who clicks on it in the hanger menu. Of course, all the non-perked planes would still be available in unlimited numbers as usual.
How hard would that have been to implement? It would balance the play because now, only a few of the monster uber planes would be available to fly, AND the big one....EVERYONE would get a chance to fly the plane he wants..of course when one becomes available at a certain field.
I guess good suggestions are usually overlooked as being too simple.
