Went Hiking, Cannot walk!
« on: June 01, 2009, 05:11:19 PM »
This fat boy went hiking today. My niece had been under terrible stress so I suggested she go for a hike. She said great lets go. We went to a small state park in Southern Indiana called McCormick's Creek. Been there before but I sure forgot about those steep hills and all of those steps. I think we did about 5 miles and my legs felt like rubber after the first small hill. On the very last hill I got nauseated. It was about 90 here. Let myself cool down some and made it back to the jeep. My niece slept the whole way back. When I climbed out of the jeep I couldn't feel my legs. OMG! am I going to fall! Nope didn't but sure had problems negotiating the steps into the house.

It was great to get out.

You know they let you ride horses there.. and you can see the trails from the comfort of horseback.

3 Days later I once again regained full control of my legs.  :rofl :rofl :rofl    You know I think I will do it again.

Finished the house too. Just in time for the my guests. Hung 4 doors, put in new window, new threshold, painted hall way, and cleaned cleaned cleaned. Couldn't have done without my Mom, my friend Don, my neighbor, and my son.
