2)P51

she has to be one of the most beautiful aircraft ever built. her lines are smooth, and flow into one another.

I agree with you on both of these. And I'm sorry but the Mitchell only looks good from an,I"ll mess you up if you f@&$ with me" stand point; past that she is kinda homely.

And I'm sorry but the Spit dosen't look like a fighter unless you have flown her for a while. Hey, I calls em' as I sees em'.

Spitfire XII will always be my favorite for best looking of the Spits.  Great combo of sleek and tough.



The early model 38s with the smaller intakes are a close second



With the P51B/C right behind


The 109E4/7 with the pointed spinner would be my 4th pick for best looking bird.

I have to agree with you on the XII. Definately my favorite-faster than a typh down low, clipped wings, and sexy looks combine to make one heck of an aircraft. :aok IX ain't far behind though.
