This guy caught me with a ho shortly after lift-off on the previous sortie. I was ready this time.

i cannot get the f4u 1c off the carrier


everytime i try i end up being dumped off the decked because the cv is turning

It's possible to take-off from the carrier while it's turning. Use lots of rudder and flaps :)

I doubt you'll need wep, since the carrier is already going faster than normal during a turn.
Although Wep would surely help :)

Use 2 notches of flaP and use your rudder oppisite whichever way carrier is turning.
