Been playing a bit more lately.. Havin a little more fun in game too.. Maybe I needed the break... Uh whatever!

Wanna update my controllers... Already ordered TIR5, looking
for a new Stick/throttle, and my first set of rudder pedals...
Already checked out the common selections, CH, Saitek, etc...

Found the new logitek G940, supposed to be better quality
than their previous units.. And force feedback... That sounds
kinda cool... Control flutter, and Stiff or mushy stick during
maneuvers... Hmmm cool! LOL!

Q: Does AH2 support force feedback?

Q: Does anyone have any experience with this unit?

Yes, on the force feedback. No experience with that stick.

This G940 is a completely integrated 3pc unit..
Looks pretty nice, has all the features.. little spendy..
But about the same if bought from other co's...

Just gathering info, before I choose one...

I have the CH combat stick,throttle an pedals and love them.I highly recommend it.

RipChord, Logitech products have a reputation for failing around 6 months - 2 years after being purchased. You're better off looking at products from other companies as the numbers are not in your favor with Logitech.

I think this Logitech G940 is a reasonable risk.  They have definitely done their homework.  I was kidding one of my modding buddies over at CH about how Logitech has been spying on us and has implemented absolutely everything we have modded our CH gear to do (forcefeedback, dual stage trigger, trim axes, throttle detent) plus dual throttle.  One of the guys at Expo reported back that he actually got to try one and was very impressed.  It is apparently very well made.

You guys know me.  I'm quite the CH fanboi but I really think this G940 is the real deal.  Logitech does not necessarily mean Logicrap.  After all, this mouse sitting right here beside me has been here for some six or maybe seven years and it's as good as when I first got it.  Same goes for my 5.1 speaker system.  Everything they make is not junk.

There may actually be a "Lefty-Logi" in the future at some point!

 I've tried most of the controllers, TH, CH, Logitec, Saitek. CH beats them all. I broke my Saitek setup. It lasted two years. Worked good. Nice setup. Tried the TH driving wheels, joysticks, rudder pedals and throttles they had a good feel but never lasted. And their programing software was overly complicated.

  My old gameport CH combat stick, rudder pedals and throttle made its way to the dumpster when I upgraded to USB. They still worked after years of Nascar, AW, WB, and any other game that would take a joystick. The only thing I don't like about the new CH products is that they didn't make the old programing(can't rem name) software for the USB setup. Thier new software is more complicated, less user friendly. It works good just not as good as the old programing program they had.
 Go with CH Products. Lasts works good.
