wonder if they have figured out the c,v brake keys and a little throttle?

Most of the time I never use the rearm pad as I'm always changing what I'm doing, except for in FSO's or Scenarios where there is a life count. As far as I'm concerned it's rather easy to rearm your plane, just a little c / v key control and you're there, even with planes like the B17. The problem is if you nick a wing or come in at a bad angle you're screwed. To be honest weather or not they're removed doesn't matter to me, it's just I think it's a good idea too remove them and "I" don't see any game breaking events that would happen. Like many have said they're rarely used anyway.

+1 good wish

It's silly you have to risk clipping your wing off, just so the rearm trucks don't have to drive so far!

Not only that, but, you don't have to be completely on the pad. I've foud if most of your A/C is on the pad, rearm and refuel begins no problem. Try keeping as far from the building as possible and you won't lose your wings.

Still, this is not the Help & Training forum, and it's a sensible wish.
Of course it's easy to avoid hitting the buildings, but why should they be there in the first place?

Yup. And while we are at it, remove the trees too. I often fly into them when fighting on the deck. Why are they there in the first place?

Hey guys, I have a question, *Nem mumbling to himself* oh my god this is embarasing, how do you use a rearm thingy?, and more embarasing still, how do you find and them. I wasn't even aware of their existance untill just a weeks ago when I hear them mentioned in a thread. I'm kind confused, was this added since chrismas or somethin, I wouldn't know, my computer dosen't work with AH2, and I still don't want to shell out a couple hundred bucks for a new one. But can anyone fill me in? IN DETAIL, please.

Rearm pads are at the end of every runway. Small building and some fuel trucks next to it, the pad itself has a big yellow circle on it. Just taxi onto the pad and stop. A message in text buffer will tell you you are being rearmed. Wait 30 seconds. Text message will say "Rearm complete".

That's all.

i cant tell you how many times ive had 2 kills and go to rearm quickly just take my wing off while crippling my engine so that i have to ditch

its not a big deal its just annoying to try and rearm to keep my streak alive and then i destroy your plane and lose potential perk points

Yup...as said before. F3 is your friend. Hit F3 then F8 and raise your view so that you have a field of view up high to see and taxi unto the pad. Also the use of the left and right wheel brakes help a great deal. Most planes pivot in a tight radius on the ground with rudder and wheel brakes. Practice in the offline arena or TA.

practice landing a lancaster on a cv to rearm, back it up a bit, then take off. You'll have no problems with field rearms then

Just to be a sucker for sarcasm I'll take the bait. Trees are generally not found near re-arm pads, let alone on airfields, or other places aircraft might taxi/take-off/land or being maintained.
