Why are we getting the 25 block... all it is a 30 without a dorsal fin ahead of the vert stabilizer, worse directional stability.

And less HP too. Still, it is a P-47 and one just can't have enough of those!    I figure HTC will add the C and then the M/N models some time in the future and that will be it for the Jug. Not bad considering we already have, for example, the 109-F, G2, G6 and G10 and there would be at least two more models that could be added to round that out the 109 selection (E and K).
 My suspicion is the D-25 model will introduce some different ground to air load outs, as well as providing a P-47 that spans an earlier time, for scenarios in comparison to the later D-30 model.

We're getting the P-47D-25 because it has Brazilian paint(duh). And triple bazooka tubes instead of HVAR's.

I expect there will be a "Razorback" P-47D(-15?) someday too.
