Can't watch since I'm at work, but if it's what I think it is, eye candy is all it is.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

Might want to be careful with this site.  I got all kinds of bizarre hits from files and images that should not be tossing something back at or getting something from the user.

Just FYI.  Not saying it is not safe, but something is there that really does not belong.

Problem is they look the same down low as from 10,000 feet, only bigger.  In my experience anyway.  Does IL2 even look like this on your average machine?

I've seen at least as good in some AH2 screenshots some have posted.

I like to think of it as your average Toyota Tercel with ground effects and a big wing on the back because, oh, it looks so coool....

Wrongway, that is the upcoming sequel to IL2 Forgotten Battles. Not the IL2 we've been playing the last eight years or so.

Wait, I retract that. This is just a console version of the old IL2 with some updates. The next-generation IL2 will be IL2: Storm of War.

If only AH2 could look like this right now. The graphics are good for a game, it look cool.

The next-generation IL2 will be IL2: Storm of War.

Though Ubisoft hasn't said anything official but reports are they've cancelled it.  Stores that used to offer it for pre-order have stopped offering it and cancelled all pre-order sales.  Industry game tracking sites also have the game listed as cancelled in North America and Europe by the publisher (Ubisoft).

As for Birds of Prey, it's sure a pretty looking game and that's basically all it is.  People thinking they finally got a 'real' flight sim for consoles are going to be surprised by the arcade like flight model.  Yes, there are options to enable 'advanced' flight mode but all that really does is allow you to manually coordinate your turns instead of having it automatically done in more arcade flight model settings.

Found this comment in a flight sim forum to be pretty funny.

lol! voss is world famous.

Imo, AH2 is going to be up there when the new terrain comes in and all the existing planes are developed. Think of it this way, HTC waited this long to upgrade but now they are able to use improved coading and visuals than if they had upgraded the whole game in 2007. It's like a thick whiskey or fine wine. Time is the best thing to take when improving.

If consoles added support for USB joysticks/pedals/throttles, there's potential for a good flight sim.  I think there's no chance with a gamepad though.
