C-47...
« on: July 26, 2009, 01:11:29 PM »
Well, the c-47's a blast to get into, but sometimes on those "put it down don't drop" landing... you hit a "bump" (You know, one of those that puts your left wing over the right and makes you flip around without wings?). For some reason, the C-47 gets some "fun" behaviour after her wings go "kerplut". For example, you can't let your troops go.

Dunno if this was added on purpose, or if it's a glitch, or what exactly, but It'd be a bit more accurate if you could still let them go...

Now I can see the flame "If you come down that rough odds are your troops wouldn't make it..."
All I have to say is Glider #4. ;)
Sometimes, we just need to remember what the rules of life really are: You only
need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the
WD-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

I've broken plenty of wings off and still let troops go.  It's the gear that you need to watch.  If you lose your gear, the troops can't get out...maybe the door won't open.
My Current Rig:
GigaByte GA-X99-UD4 Mobo w/ 16Gb RAM
Intel i7 5820k, Win7 64-bit
NVidia GTX 970 4Gb ACX 2.0
Track IR, CH Fighterstick, CH Pro Throttle, CH Pro Pedals

You should be able to let out at least 1 troop, but you'll need to hit enter 3x :D
