BOCAGE
The Western Allies at last have linked their
D-Day beaches, but their attempts to break out of
the bridgehead have been stymied by fierce German
resistance and by the Norman terrain which makes
every pasture a fortress. Both sides have poured
air assets into the area. Low-level combat is
an everyday occurrence.
Map: Ardennes 08 (for lack of a better alternative
and to encourage low-altitude combat).
The P-51D is available at limited bases because it
was just coming into service during this period. The
Spit 9 is available at limited bases for balance.
