...Which makes a difference why?

Enlighten us.

wrongway

It makes a difference when HTC says it is always looking for the best way to balance the arena's, eventhough ENY does work, it would be prudent to be able to fine tune it a bit, which this would do by discounting the people that are what HTC would consider excessive inactivity or AFK and wouldn't this also be easier on the servers as a added benefit.

To be totally honest, ENY doesn't effect me that much.

There are not too many times that ENY won't let fly a 109 or a 190A-8.

Not the point, ENY is based on the amount of people logged into the arena, not on how many are inactive or active.

Yesterday, in Blue (Orange?) ENY was at 22.something, with the Rooks having 66 people as opposed to the bishops having 45 and knights having 41. However, the inflight #'s for Rook was 39, the bishops having 41 and knights having 40. This is why we should have ENY based on the number of those in flight.

You are missing the point, it is not about switching counties it is about a more accurate accounting of logged in and active verses logged in and inactive, that's it.

Well I'm new to the game, only been playing for about 8 months. I have notices that AH is played more like an arcade game and a little like a Sims game.  A lot of players after getting 2 kills run back to a base to land them to get credit for the kills, so that is where the arcade play comes in. High score to get top player for the tour. Bombing tanks and camping spawns to help score all are things in arcade type play.  But it does take practice to dive bomb GV's. It all has to do with arcade type play. Plus sometime bombing tanks and camping a spawn has to be done to defend a base. That could be called military strategy.  It is a little off talking about Tower Queens but it is all part of playing with many different types of people from all around the globe. HTC is just putting and arcade type game out there that has a little sims to it for all types of people to play and have fun doing and playing your way.  I love playing the game with all the things that make me a little mad, like being bombed in a GV or being shot down in a bomber will after I have drop my bombs and I'm just going to land. Being kill at a spawn camper. I just have to keep telling that is how that person has fun playing the game too. So each person has is own style of play and that what makes this so much fun to play. You never know what will be around the next corner. There are things I would like to see changed too. But I just try to adapted to the way the game is being played at the time I'm on. The game is not prefect for in everyone's eyes But it sure keeps me coming back to try and get better in the way I play the game.

As I pay very little attention to what the state of the ENY is, I don't really know too much about it.  Please pardon my ignorance.

What else does it affect, besides the type of plane you can fly (dependent upon the ENY at the time) ?
