Only if you're offline or (before it was canceled) the H2H arena. You cannot use your own skins in the Main Arena, unless they go through HTC first. If you do make skins for aircraft on AH and they go through the inspection process, you will be credited for it in the hanger where skins are selected.
If you skin for a long time and do it well, you can get an invite to join the Skinning Team.
If you get well known and do great work, you can end up working on models not released to the general populace on Aces High.
If you do very well and you're nice to the red-headed girl (Skuzzy) at the HTC, you can get a job like Waffle. Waffle used to be a rank and file player until a year or so ago.
