LOL I had it happen too in my first I-16 ride.  3 on me and in their ack no less.  Typical of me.  And of course there was a certain AH pilot who shall remain nameless <cough> Snaphook<cough> who nailed my poor Brewster while I was turning on the deck with Batfink

That and the FH's getting killed at that fight.  Too funny

Just a note, when I turn object shadowing on, my cockpit ammo counters and fuel selector text vanish.

And is it just me or do other planes appear bigger at distances now? At 650 they don't appear "black" or indistinguishable but with the beta they look larger.

I loved *name deleted* chewing me out after shooting his Brewster down in my F4U-1A, earlier calling it a "dweeb ride." Y'know, after he made absolutely NO attempt whatsoever at evasive action when he could have easily out-turned me to evade my gunnery pass.

Then about half an hour later the guy landed a pair of kills in a Spit XVI.

ok....i d/l'd it. with the hi res pack. changed nothing, and doing 75fps offline. i think everything is turned up all the way. i was gonna log in, but it gave me a message that my version was out of date.......did you guys get this?

I finally got to fly the beta a bit today. Loved the shadows, loved the sea, loved the terrain. Tiffy looks good all cleaned up, and the new planes are fun. Only problem I ran into was bozo's flying only to HO, running from a fight when you turned the tables on them, or ganging. Some were spending time hitting factories as well as radar at bases. Its BETA people ! Scores REALLY don't count in that arena!!   

It is because that's all they know how to do. That is their AH. Sad, ain't it?
