The background fits!

Great job on the canopy-glare effect. I do see what you mean with the lead plane, it seems a bit bright and plain/bland for the occasion.

Very nice Bmathis.

Thanks for the background pictures.  Those pics seem to draw questions on where I get them.  :)

Thank you Dart.  I am using Photoshop CS3.  Composite pictures are really fun, and frustrating too.  ;)

I appreciate your feedback.  :salute

Only one suggestion.  Put E2-C out front next time.  That's the famous Lou IV flown by 361st Fighter Group CO Col. Thomas J.J. Christian.

One of Fester's nicest skins and he's done some beauties.

Very nice work though :)

Thanks Corky, I appreciate your historical feedback as always... Maybe Col. Thomas J.J. Christian was taken the day off  :D

I should consult ya before I try another one of these quasi historical composites.

The hard part with the skins is getting two from the same squadron and the same time frame to really make it look right.

There are a couple of 475th 38Gs from the same squadron and same time frame, both 431st, and 432nd FS.  I think there are two 334th FS, 4th FG P51Bs that are from the same time frame.  There are two 80th 38Gs that are from 43, a couple of Js from 44 and an L from 45 but they don't all fit together historically.

This being an example.  4 of us out but the silver 38L is from 45 the lead bird is 43, the 38G to the back is 43 and the OD J is early 44.  It looks good, but would never have happened :)

Send me the original resolution if you can, and I'll see what I can do with that one.
