I live on fort drum. The weather today was looking pretty bad. Almost seemed like there wasnt going to be an airshow on saturday. Later in the day it got brighter but i had left by around 3:00pm. This was my second one up here. Glamorious gal is my favorite of all the planes she's up here wit the p40 and the yak's like last year. The f-18 is painted in centennial for the canadian colors this time. Last year it was haze grey. I missed the sound barrier break once again. I was in a c-130 when that happened. Some of the pictures were from my iphone. The camera I was using outside had a lense for distance and I wasn't with my other lense. The inside shots had to be done with the iphone because of that. I'm glad they came out as well as they did. I had to put them on a photobucket album because theres 380+ pictures. Maybe theres some good desktop backgrounds you guys can use out of them. If you view the yellow planes with the lights on in a slideshow you'll see they are doing a missing man formation. They played taps during the run of that. Always brings tears to the eyes to those that know what it means. I'm glad you guys like the shots. the low b-17 and c-47 shots are from a moving jeep as i was going home, havent seen them yet and hope they didn't come out blurry. We were on a road that went by the strip and they were coming in for low passes. Should have stayed a bit longer but the crowd up front was hindering taking better pictures.
