That would be the B model btw, the C model had 4 engines. I'd like to see how the periscope for the rear cannons would be modeled.

Yes, it is the size of a P-38.

I had always thought that the crew must have been 2-3 but I just took a second look in my books. Crew: Pilot

It had autopilot tho

If you ever get in the Washington DC area, stop by the Garber Facility.

They have a fully restored Blitz bomber. Its really sweet.

I talked to some of the guys that worked on the restoration, and they were able to save the original plexiglass nose piece that when they started was so yellowed and fogged it was almost white.

After hundreds and hundreds of man hours its now looks clear as glass and looks brand new. A definite sight to behold.

I was surfing dude and I found the Garber site on the web. They have the last surviving He 219 and everything is there to restore it. That would be the greatest job in the world I think to work there. Sorry I don't have the page posted I didn't think to save it. It should be an easy search item.

When I was at the Garber Facility, the building that housed the Ar 234 was under repair and i missed it,the trauma and disperse the hopelessness and disappointment of that moment haunt me today....reaches for pills therapist prescribes...But I can always go back   it's only on the other side of the country.
