Looking for photographs of Adolf Galland's Me 262
« on: July 02, 2009, 11:05:38 PM »
I'm looking to skin the Me 262 that Adolf Galland flew when he was in charge of Jagdverband 44. If anyone has anything that can help me with this, it would be greatly appreciated. :salute

I have the JV44 history by Robert Forsythe, and it's a massive work, but it doesn't list any particular 262 with Galland, even on the day he was shot up.

I trust one of the Luftwaffe experts here might be able to help though.

Website says Galland confirmed that this is an accurate model of his 262. Not entirely sure, but that's what the site is telling me.

Prototype.  It's a tail dragger.
