Those shots are from MS flight simulator. a product which seems to have had a little success in spite of going from those low end graphics

that any flightsim that tries high-graphics ends up being completely unplayable.

I want a flightsim which is LOW-graphics, HIGH-flight-model.
I do not want a compromise on flight for graphics.
Lag and poor frame-rates are not my priority in purchasing this game.

I will not be upgrading my computer for the new version.
I will not be running it in high-graphics mode if given the choice.
I will be taking my money elsewhere if forced into a frame-lag-fest.

If you like Aces High currently, you should like the update when it comes out as it will be the same flight model. The only flight modeling that is changing is the Me163 and that is mostly a fuel burn/throttle setting for the bird and they posted that change well in advance of release.

how long have you been playing this game.
 I have been flying since tour 74 and have blown up 4 comps
and at least 9 joysticks. not sure how many upgrades there have been
since i joined but it has always been worth the coin and the time.
   the only reason for your post is to record your complaint.

Well........nice work kid, if you been around for any stretch of time at all you
would know that the big boards are brutal and mostly unforgiving for lame post like this one
but hey....i would bet your just a kid and also new to the community but if you stay, you will learn or just go away.

things have changed a lot since tour 39, I remember there was one big upgrade that seemed to wash out a noticeable # of people, but it was a long time ago. The Game has really improved over the years, can't wait to see the new stuff.

Regardless of anything else, your post does seem to confirm that you've already made up your mind, as those "ultra melon" posts pointed out.  Otherwise how do you explain that
1) your assessment is based on a WIP piece of software
2) your assessment ommits the fact that you can disable the eye candy for quite possibly an improvement in frame rate.
