Is this correct?
A-8 should have MW-50 equipments?

The BMW 801D didn't particularly "like" MW 50 and early on it could only be operated for VERY short periods of time. However, later on when the 801D was changed to allow it to operated MW 50 for up to 10-15 mins allied bombing made the use of MW 50 on A8s very scarce, but it definatly was used on some A8s--albeit very rare.

Methanol is bloody expensive, even now (>$10/gal), imagine it was pretty much the same back then, relatively speaking!

Wulf with MW 50 were marked with "MW 50" triangle on left side behind cocpit. So far I have seen only one A-8 with this marking. So I think it was pretty rare.
