Squads watch your numbers
« on: July 12, 2009, 03:06:48 PM »
Was checking Frame 1 attendance and we had two squads that were well over.

Yes I check this stuff.

You can have up to 2 less or 2 over the list below. It is hard to control the lower end. Sometimes we all have a short night. I don't worry about those so much, but going over. No excuse.

Quote
-CO's are expected to choose from the following list of ranges for their numbers:

4-6
7-10
11-15
16-21
22-27
28-32
32+

*Squad C.O.'s have wide range of numbers to choose from. If a squad C.O. chose 4-6 they may show up with as little as 2 pilots and as many as 8. More than 8 may result in a point penalty for their side. If a squad C.O. chose 7-10 then they could show up with as few as 5, but no more than 12, more than 12 may also result in a point penalty.

- Squads that are over in attendance may cost their side, (Allied or Axis) a penalty in points. Squads that have too many pilots are expected to have their extra pilots sit it out or fly with another squad that is not over in their committed numbers.

No worries. Squads that are under can't control it. Happens to everyone sooner or later.  :)

They can control being over.

I suspended a few squads for being over to many times, it was not popular, but it worked.

I can guaranty you guys DD won't hesitate to do the same.

That is just the way it has to be.

Right here Chappy.

http://ahevents.org/fso-related/fso-rules.html

Quote
Squad Operations Frame CiC:
- Read and understand all the rules as they pertain to the current event.
- Receive and review the frame objectives as sent by Admin CM and follow the steps for the Frame CiC.'s.
- Insure that squadron C.O.’s have received their orders by e-mail, no later than Wednesday night prior to the Friday night Squad Operations.
Of course if the CM’s are late with the objectives that week we can’t expect the CiC’s to be on time come Wed night.

Just wait till this weekend with the dayton airshow I am guessing around a dozen squads will be under by quite a bit.
