Still Incorrect... there is NO WAY to program the different X52 modes without the SST software.
Yeah I think everyone understands that. They were discussing using the rotary buttons to change AH modes as a work around I believe. Unfortunately, I could move the mode rotary and the i\clutch button and they would not register as a button press in AH. Made it impossible to program them for anything, all of the other buttons programmed as expected.
Why that happened? could not tell you. I installed the drivers that came with the stick and no joy. Installed the latest and greatest package from Saitek...everything has worked great so far.
You CAN program the switch (which will report as button presses) to switch between AH modes, but you can't physically change the joystick modes.
Good suggestion, but like I said before the mode roatary simply was not registering as a button press.
Now that everything is programmable, I think one mode may be enough. I gained basically 5 more buttons on the throttle by getting the i\clutch button, mouse wheel up\down, mouse wheel press and the left click button programmed to what I wanted. I may do a second profile mode tailored for bombing, and a third for vehicles.
Thanks for all the help guys, it is appreciated.
