combatstick and ts
« on: July 13, 2009, 01:03:56 AM »
I've got a CH combatstick 568 that I'd like to use but I can't get teamspeak or vent to work on any of the buttons. Does anyone know how I can get either of these comms to work with it?

You can't select it in the AH controls setup?

Odd I had no problem?

Clipboard then preferences then controls then select joystick setup IIRC been awhile?
It's been said we have three brains, one cobbled on top of the next. The stem is first, the reptilian brain; then the mammalian cerebellum; finally the over developed cerebral cortex.  They don't work together in awfully good harmony - hence ax murders, mobs, and socialism.

Vent/Team Speak is set up external to the game as well.

We've been using TS for the past year or so without any problem - most have it set to "voice activated" (no buttons to press). We've been here and using it constantly for the past couple of weeks without any problems. You do have to do all your set up outside AH. I'd really recommend you download and use "TS Overlay" also. TS does not override "range vox"(you still hear vox- have to press button to transmit still) Not sure about squad chnls etc.

Thanks guys. I can use the stick in game no problem. I will try again to set it up offline in ts, this time with voice activation and I'll take a look at the in game IIRC settings.

If your combatstick has something similar to my Saitek X52, you can use programming software to tell Windows that when button # (whatever) is pressed it means a keyboard button/combination was depressed. Afterward you would tell TeamSpeak when that particular key combination is pressed you want it to activate the microphone.
