Wow, looks more fun than Kai-Tak. Any idea on what type of plane that was landing? I'm assuming it was a turbo-prop.

that was an airbus 319 passenger flight....

Here is the entire approach filmed from a falcon 900. Only 8 pilots have current ratings for the approach so there is a qualified pilot in the jump seat....not sure if this is a certification flight or what.....but gives you then entire approach not just the last bit....

I remember the one where the prop planes land on the side of a mountain. The runway is not flat. Pretty amazing what some folks fly into and out of.

Bush pilots up in Alaska always seem to have some nice stories.

Looks like some of our landing approaches in the Main Arenas. :D

Those folks who live on the side of that last hill before the runway had better like airplanes. They are going to see all of them using that field!
