Thank you SKurj for good comment.

I think HTC will bring SBD someday (1.10 or 1.11?)
But attacking a US carrier with SBD in not fun.
So I hope HTC to bring SBD and Japanese TG at once.
(Japanese carrier should explode to great fireball with one hit of bomb.)
This will keep SBD usage rate to high.
Isn't it good idea?

Hehe Tanij, well at present it only takes 2000lbs to kill a CV anyways +)

A japanese aircraft carrying one of those 1800lb'ers could almost do it +)

Yes, Mitsu, AH desparately needs more Japanese planes.

You Dauntless guys!    The SB2C did plenty!   It was responsible for destroying more Japanese targets than any other dive bomber (Osprey books).   It took the fight right into the teeth of the enemy in the last two years of the War, sinking ships like the Yamato and Musashi, and attacking numerous targets on heavily defended island bases.

Can't take anything away from the Dauntless' service record, but the SB2C was bigger, faster and carried a more varied payload.  it should be more useful and survivable than the SBD in AH.  By the later versions, a lot of the handling problems had been solved, but its bad reputation persisted.  Actually, it soldiered on into the 1950's in the early  Indochina conflict.

Never been modelled in an online sim!  Aren't you guys anxious to try something different?   ;)

So is Fatty's mom, but nobody would ever call her beautiful!   :p

I'm not against getting the Dauntless- I would just like to see the late war planeset filled out before we start adding early war planes.  I think it'd make sense to add the early war planes in large groups, that complete a scenario.  That way they'd be useful in special events, because few people are going to fly them much in the MA.
