Short F4U film
« on: July 08, 2009, 10:02:21 AM »
Converted to AVI with Fraps, but then saw the file was 260M(!) So then converted again to mp4 using Videora to get it down to 6M.  There must be a better way.

What do you mean there must be a better way?  Fraps movies are very large because it takes a lot of CPU power to capture raw video from a game (that the CPU is already running), asking the CPU to simultaneously compress that captured video is something short of a mainframe.

Gotcha.  Wasn't looking at it that way.  One step to capture, another to compress, OK.

But, I don't think it counts if it wasn't intentional, right?

nice auger! The film quality was good, i think fraps and a good movie editor is the best way to go.
