Start with your settings folder, I use a flash drive for starters.
I have a AH backup file with settings, sights, maps, terrains and other assorted goodies.
That is saved in several locations, on a DVD disk, on my wifes computer, and on the 2nd partition of this computer.
Actually if I went and looked I'd probably find 3 or 4 backups going back to 2001.
Your only limited by your imagination.

What i really meant was the best way to physically move them from the game folder to another place on the computer. The reason being if I unplug my CH fighter stick I have to redo everything. So what I did was just hit the move to button to my documents . I think that will work. The other way I tried it did not work.

Flat,

simply copy and paste the settings folder to "my docs." or where ever you wish.

Like Ghosth I have several backups saved, tho not as many,1 on a zip and 1 in a folder I made.
