new video card causes rhythmic warping
« on: July 22, 2009, 09:23:27 PM »
just installed a new geforce gtx 260, with no other changes to the machine, isp, or AH settings, and now get small warps every 17-20 seconds. drivers are brand new, processes are minimal, pings are solid. anyone seen this before?

What drivers are you using from where?  What Power Supply are your using with wattages and AMPs per rail?  How are you connecting to the Video Card, are you using two native 6 pin connectors or are you using a molex to 6 pin.

drivers from nvidia.com, power supply is a 750W but I don't remember the model for the rail specs offhand. using 2 native connectors.

just to clarify, it's not like a frame glitch or a stutter; I see all planes around me shift forward or backwards a few yards, quickly but not in one frame. It's a smooth motion.
