Beta Arena Test Flight
« on: July 17, 2009, 08:19:24 AM »
Tested the latest patch last night in the Beta Arena.  Just a short Corsair flight - takeoff, circle, land on carrier to see the excellent work done by the staff at HTC.   :rock  WTG guys!   :salute

1920x1200, all sliders full, reflections, self-shadow, hires textures, etc.  Captured with Fraps at 30fps - I run game v-sync'd to 60fps but record at 30 for file size.  YouTube version 1280x720 just over three minutes - make sure you watch it in HD.

Man, if I were using TIR settings that insensitive I would probably have to headbutt my monitor. I was getting frustrated just watching.

Sweet vid though :D

Actually, my TIR settings are pretty agressive...just that recording in Fraps I'm forcing the game down to 30fps.  During normal activity, I'm running 60fps and everything is smooth and quick.  I just have to get used to moving my head a little slower while recording with Fraps (or just work with huge files and go with 60fps recordings).  Worth a little more experimenting.  Thanks for the feedback.
