Are we sure about the drag associated with the Typhoon? That thing has more drag than a brick. If you're doing 200ias and the motor goes kaput(with prop feathered) at low level you're ded ded ded u just do a belly flop , seems as long as the engines running even with the throttle chopped it flies fine at 120+ . soooooomethiiiiiing isn't correct there. heck you can float the b17 for quite a ways with 4 ded engs on the deck but the tiffie argh .. . BRICK , FLOP , SPLAT !

Yes, the Tiffie's FM is very different from the other planes in AH. It almost seems like it comes from another sim.

Yes the Typhoon is very strange. I thought it was just the large prop and engine torque, but maybe it is more than that? On the other hand, I have read some "interesting" WW2 pilot accounts about low speed behavior of this plane:
