New file update for game, July 28, 2009
« on: July 28, 2009, 03:03:59 PM »
Hello. I have not been on for a month or so. Everything was fine before, but today I had to update the game files so I could play. Now, frame rates are about 10. Everything is so jerky I can not fly, or even move my mouse cursor with any accuracy. My stick setting were saved, but not my gamma setting. Any idea's are appreciated.

Thank you very much. Clutz.

I just figured it out. I went to options, umm graphic detail, advanced and removed the check for "detailed terrain". I mean removed the x for "detailed terrain. Which brings up another question. If something is labeled as "disable" and I do not have an x there, does that mean I get it, or does it mean I do not get it? This is confusing. When I was a kid in school, x's meant no, and checks meant yes. Its a double negative sort of thing they have for this games options and very confusing. Always has been.

If the option is available, it is because the video card claimed to meet certain criteria.

If the option is grayed out, it is because the video card failed to meet certain criteria.

I will be posting what the criteria is soon.
