Just flew it offline.  Over 4000 fpm at low level with full fuel and WEP.  About 380 mph top speed at sea level.

Sounds like the sweet one, and non-perk too.

I am still at work, and I still hate all of you.

Thanks funked. Anyway I'm about to have a serious crissis being unable to fly it for one week more. Can you guys post more info about our AH Dora here? How it handles compared to A8 or Ta152? Witch are the weapon options for D9 and Ta152? Even how is the F performance compared to A8? etc, etc, etc. As you can see, I'm just getting histeric now.

I didn't get a chance to fly either last night, since I only flew 1 hour, but I did look at the armament options.

Dora:
x2 13mm (cowling)
x2 20mm MG151 (wingroot)

Ta152
x2 20mm MG151 (wingroot)
x1 30mm Mk108 (hub)

Each only has the single gunset, and I think the Dora can carry a single 250kg bomb or a drop tank. I forget on the Ta152

However, it seems that F-8 does not have panzerblitz or any other rocket weapons

Dora seems real nice, but as a DORA fanatic i already found some minor mistakes.

1st i wasnt able to fly more than 410mph TAS at 19,800 feet with WEP and half fuel load, 2nd the engine only makes max 3100 rpm instead of max 3250 rpm in real WW2.

But D9 holds E fine and climbs very good.

Fw 190F-8: 300l dt or 250/500kg bomb on centreline. 4x50kg bombs on wings.
Fw 190D-9: 300l dt or 250/500kg bomb on centreline.
Ta 152H-1: 300l dt on centreline.

The Fw 190F-8 is a teeny bit slower than the A-8, and climbs about 200fpm worse - presumably due to the weight of the extra belly armour - which should provide some protection against the AH acks!

Also, all of the new Focke Wulfes have a better view thanks to their bubble top canopy.

Re: 410mph at 19,800ft - I get 425mph on WEP and with over 60% fuel left. Maybe you didn't let the plane accelerate for long enough to reach it's top speed?

Anyone has already tested the actual Ta152, D9, A8 and A5 turning, climbing and acceleration performance relative to each other at low and medium alts?

And, a last question, didn't have the Ta152 an option to carry 4 Mg151/20 and, at least, one Mk108 or Mk103?

Your thinking of the Ta152C. Which for our purposes would be a much better plane for a couple of reasons.

However, It never reached production.

Regardless, we have the Ta152-H1, so yes we have the correct armament options.
