AHII V 2.14 DOES NOT WORK!!!! (Vista)

I just installed the 2.14 patch on Vista,now I'm sorry I did,the game crashes before I even get to the main menu,is this just Vista telling me I need to go ahead and wipe my HDD for XP or is there something I can do?

would not having updated the textures pack yet do it?  I started D/Ling it right after the patch finished but I'm still waiting for it,could that be the problem?

yeah, mine is just not working right! the frames are just way too slow maxing at about 4 framerate, what the heck was the update for anyways, b4 the update it was working almost perfect!!!

By default there are a lot of extra graphics settings that are enabled like bump-mapping on the terrain that will cause frame rates to drop. You will want to readjust everything. Any settings you had made to the old aceshigh.exe will have to be reapplied to the new program (compatibility modes etc.).

Right click on it and select "Run as administrator".  See if that allows it to start.

but the video settings are different and has different options and even when i had 2.13 it still ran faster than it did with th high settings

it made it faster but now my planes and terrain is full of colors that arent supposed to be there, the planes are full of green inside and out and terrain is red
