My Trailblazer
« on: July 28, 2009, 04:45:46 PM »
Finally finished my 05 Chevy Trailblazer. So I figured I would go ahead and post some pics. My apologies for the quality they were taken with a cell phone.

Stickers are not only super ghey, they are also an open invitation for someone to smash out your window and steal your stuff.  Especially when the amp is just laying on the floor in plain sight.
To each their pwn.

So you black out your tags but let your GPS tell everyone what street you live on?  :lol

I own a 2005 GMC Envoy myself. Same thing more or less, nice SUVs.

Ah, but your confidence and security system will do nothing to impede what a thief percieves as an oportunity.  Let me know how many times you replace your back window and go through filing with your insurance company before you stop advertising what you got hidden behind that tint with stickers.

Also, do you know how much your insurance will cover on electronics and entertainment systems loss?  If it's a standard policy, it won't be more than a couple hundred bucks or so.

Just warning you (I really do hope that no harm comes to your car, be it at your hands or someone else's), with more age comes more experience and wisdom... unfortunatley.

Good looking ride though, I do like Chevy Blazers and Trailblazers (though personaly I'm not a fan of a lot of black on black... in particular the black rims... but it's all in the eye of the beholder).

Nice mom mobile. Black is a very ungood color in the SW. way to freaking hot.

Nice wheels gold dweeb.   You should seriously take it into consideration of taking that sticker off the back.  Now all you need is a lift kit and you will be set. j/k.  But seriously take the sticker off the window.

Hehe...  When I was younger and more concerned with my car (because I didn't have a mortgage etc), Pirelli tires were expensive and totally wasted on anything other then performance cars...

Guess that has changed...

You know, my 70 year old mother drives a Trailblazer...

 :rofl

Seriously though, as long as you are enjoying it, good for you.

It helps that the cadillac you're driving is arguably the best production car in the US...  It'll face some serious competition from whatever chebby the holden commodore / pontiac G8 is resurructed as in a couple of years.  The G8 is a really nice sedan and it costs half of the caddy for approximately the same (or slightly better) performance.  It'll be a really nice chebby if GM can make it happen in today's obamanation.  The new timeline for the new CAFE standards are pretty much set up to exclude the nicer big sedans from the market, and that's kind of a shame.  My G8 gets pretty decent mileage for a big sedan.

Back on the OP topic...  The car looks really nice but for what it's worth, I'll cast my vote for ditching the stickers.  The car is practically stealthed out with the paint, tint, and wheels, so any big stickers just sort of stand out in my opinion.  The chrome and other accents can be classy but a big yellow sticker doesn't seem to fit the car.
Everyone I know, goes away, in the end.
