Thank you, HTC!

First of all I have to rave about the new graphics. They are outrageously fine. How do you do that??

Secondly, I have to remark about the performance I am experiencing with my 9 year old Compac computer with an AMD XP 1800+ which I upgraded
with 1 gig of ram and an aging GeForce 7300 GT card with 512 meg of memory. I am consistently getting 37 to 45+ frame rate with a very minimal stutter.
I am running with detailed terrain, full anti-aliasing, water detail, and that amazing self shadow which I really like.   Of course I have to let things come up to
speed when I first boot up the game. I think it must be downloading terrain information or something - but after a couple of minutes....JOILA!

Now  running with 1024 x 768 monitor resolution, and wondering how  this thing can do that well. HT and the team really outdid themselves this time. Bravo!
I don't even mind getting shot down so much now. (ha ha)

Now if I can just get to be a better gunner....

BTW, is there a reason that my frame rate is actually higher with the high res kit than without??
