Well how bout that!  I'm sure you'll be able to attract a lot more players to those events while giving short term subscribers another reason to hang on to their accounts. Why that idea and a few others that help it's subscribers have never been implemented is baffling.

As i understand, many people keep their accounts open solely for events like FSO. Being able to make people aware of the many other things to do here besides furball in the main might counter some of the AH turn over.

I don't think the advertisements seen on the History channel bring in nearly as many squeakers as it does grown ups.  Hopefully the CM messages will be seen and attract interested players to your events more effectively than just saying "heres the game, download it and have fun trying to shoot people down"
 Theres a reason FSO is so popular and why people set aside Friday nights to play this game then log off directly.
