RELAX
« on: July 28, 2009, 10:47:46 PM »
EVERYBODY JUST RELAX!!!!!!!  The release just came out today let pyro, skuzzy and the rest of the folks at HTC work out the bugs. I know youre thinking this should have been done before the release however there are always unknown problems in any new product especialy one that is built on 1's and 0's if this game programming was easy everyone would do it. Just take a breathe set back and let the powers that be do their magic. Im sure most all the problems that people are haveing will be straightened out in a timely mannor. Dont throw in the towel just yet give them a chance :salute :aok

I dont think there are many bugs to speak of, it's more about a cost / benefit of the new graphics vs the loss in performance.  Personally (and YES I will echo this once again, possibly for the last time) I think the grafx look horrible and were NOT worth the upgrade.  I am not affected by any performance hits but the graphics were not worth losing many greenies.  I'm pretty astute about these things, and have rarely complained about a graphics upgrade, if anything I'm usually the one BEGGING for an upgrade as I run a better system.  Alas, I feel for my comrades who are losing the ability to pass some time in their favorite game.

i'm sure running around discount stores and charity shops for old PC's,   or the local dump,   to find something with the Specs some of these guys are complaining about  was right up on their list of priorites.

Davey mentioned he had a 64mb video card, I do have one bone of sympathy in my body but I     at the same time.

2.66ghz, 2.5GBram, 128mb nvdia vid card which is the max that my motherboard allows.  I guess my computer is absolute trash since it can't run this.  Thanks for your sympathy though.

But Bruv, atleast AH was playable before this version for people in the same boat as me. The graphics, even though they were still turned down, actually looked decent and sort of like what terrain should be.

Now we get the green blob o'death. Yipee!
