Look at the lander's shadow.  Then look at the lunar mounds' shadows.  They point in different directions.  Directly opposite in fact.  Coincidence?

This is a property of the crater shape and height over the surrounding terrain. Its caused by the bowl shape of the craters and the angle of the incoming light. The shadows you are seeing are from the leading edge casting into the crater. The lightened areas are from the trailing crater rim. So in essence they are creating a backwards shadow. Many times the trailing crater rim does not cast a shadow on the downward slope of the rim.

This image clearly shows what I am talking about. Due to this craters particular shape there is a trailing shadow. Many times there are no shadows due to the low sloping edges of the outer rim.

Think about it....if NASA went through all of that trouble to create one of the biggest cover ups in history they would at least get the shadows right.

I'd love to see high resolution pictures of the landing sites. Particularly Apollo 11. Those pictures are spooky in many ways. Nothing has changed in 40 years. It's still 1969 down there. I wonder how the astronauts feel when looking at those pictures.

The sad thing is that when I watched the landing all those years ago on our fuzzy black and white TV. I thought that by now, I'd have visited the place. At the very least we'd have had a permanent presence.  :(

BTW Moot, if you're serious, which I doubt. I think you're confusing mountains with depressions or craters. In fact there are no 'mountains' to be seen.

I'm thinking Moot is pulling our chains, the shodow myth has already been debunked.
Also the lunar surface is highly reflective so you can easily get shadows showing in 2 or even more directions.

I think (as do alot of others) that the reason that NASA and the guberment let these ridiculous theories persist is becouse it distracts people from what they found up there that they dont want us to know about.

I'm quite aware of the people who believe it was a fake. Simply stating that the rising number of hooked users is hilarious.
