By what dates are the Arenas Divided?
« on: August 09, 2009, 11:19:10 AM »
Can someone provide the months/years that are the dividing lines for the EW, MW & LW arenas?  Your help is appreciated!

Seems to be:

EW = 1939-1941
MW = 1942-1943
LW = 1944-1945

Except that they all start in 1939...
A Rook who first flew 09/26/03 at the age of 13, has been a GL in 10+ Scenarios, and was two-time Points and First Annual 68KO Cup winner of the AH Extreme Air Racing League.

Is there any finer separation than that?  For example EW I am assuming starts with January 1939 and ends December 1941?

I don't think it's a bright line thing.  You have P38G and FW190A5 and Spit9 in EW, for example, although those are clearly 1942 planes.

I don't think it is January as Hitler's invasion of Poland started on September the 1st 1939, i think the Early war arena has the planes that were in Hitler's arsenal from that day forward, and also the planes that allied forces had on that day onward as well. Spitfire mk 1, 110s, Lancasters, etc.
The day no hoes would fly......
