ME163 gear...

Not sure if this was intentional or not but if you keep the dolly on after takeoff the aircraft will not exceed aprox 295mph.
To each their pwn.

It is a rather massive piece of drag on a smooth airframe...

Dolly is supposed to be dropped at a certain alt anyway.

Otherwise it would tend to (not in game however), bounce back up into the Komet and cause.....er..  "problems"   :devil

I haven't flown one for about a week, so I didn't notice this.

Also, the skid needed to be "decompressed" before landing so it was more spongy.  More than one Komet pilot has received a broken back for neglecting this small issue because the landing was too hard.  I wish this was modeled somehow..

Does this mean you can fly from base to base refueling now?

You always could.

Just had to keep the speed under the critical mph to keep the dolly on.

A PITA, but possible, nonetheless.   :)

I remember when about 20 people flew Me-163s about four sectors and rearmed them along the way. The whines were epic when they hit fighter town,"You haxxors!"
