single list of computer specs
« on: August 27, 2009, 09:04:05 PM »
I'm not sure if this is really the place this thread should go, please move it if it's wrong.

I can't figure out how people view all there computer specs at ones and just copy and past them here (using RufusLeaking's post as an example)
Basically I know how to view them, but no idea how to do it all at ones. Would appreciate if someone could help me out.

thanks

If you're talking about the dxdiag information that's easily explained.

start ---run---(in the box type in) dxdiag---hit enter (or click on ok)---when the gray box pops up look at the bottom right corner, there will be a box labeled "save all information", click on that. Another window will pop up prompting you to save the file somewhere (desktop is a good place). Leave the file name exactly as is, then click "ok". Then "exit" dxdiag.

Open the dxdiag text file and copy the information for system, video and sound...paste the info in your post.

start - run -  type in

dxdiag

this will open direct x program

there is an option to save all information button at bottom of first page
will open save as text file - put it in your documents folder or on your desktop
open the text file
copy and paste to a post - may need to break into 2 posts

Good luck
