I run a dual core 1.ghz Dell insperon 530 pc, 4gb ddr2 ram, an nvidia 9600 oc edition card with 512mb of ram on it, with a 24" monitor at 2.5 ms rate. After the update It stuttered a bit until I went lower on the settings a notch. I also have vsync off. I get a steady 120-122 fr. Frustrated at first but just spent about an hour trying different settings. This was with the hires pack installed and using trackir. I also put vista on a diet so im running 19 processes unless i kick on media player for in flight music. If I were running my 3.2 ghz single CPU computer with the same specs on xp I might have decided to try and fix it with a hammer. It's easy to say go out and upgrade or tell them to not whine when everything is working fine with some people. Everyones pc is different though either old or new and so are the levels of individual patience. I do hope that the people that have problems with the upgrade get things sorted though. Even with my system before the update I thought my pc was below par and I was crossing my fingers to be able to continue playing.
