Every time i am right at an enemy's 6 my frame rate really starts to suck, it goes to like 16 and i cant shoot nothing, its becoming unbearable. Normal flying the frame rate goes between 40-60, whats up, please help...

try decreasing all of your video settings and make sure no other programs are running when you are running ACES HIGH

My assumption is that it has something to do with the opponent's skin loading when you get close. Reducing the texture size or disabling plane skins might aid your problem.

Disabling plane skins has helped me greatly in the past when I encounter this problem, but like Skuzzy said, we can't be sure w/out a DXDIAG
