indeed its a licensed copy made out of parts manufactured in USSR. the name for this goon is Li-2

One of those came down in flames on the ice-deck of lake Puruvesi here at Kerimäki during the war. It is told that everybody in the plane had all ready bailed out. It struck the ice-deck and burned there. As the spring came the remains sunk to the bottom of the lake. Water is pretty shallow at that part of the lake...only about 3 metres deep. You can still see alumiun parts laying there.
