Well another related symptom was before the mass crash the bases were not flashing indicating NME activity.  The first notice we had that A34 was under attack is when the NME killed the dar and the dar ring went red.

We dashed to the field, into the abyss and the mass crash.

After coming back from the mass crash the field WAS flashing as it would normally do but there was no one to be seen.

I don't know how you "adjust" for this type of system failure.  Fly the whole frame over would seem the only logical choice. 



I was watching the map and saw V88 get hit without ever flashing. However the base flash started working normally again on its own on my FE. There were a number of bugs last night.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.
