I don't think there is much of a possibility that the development will stop. The number of complainers is so small as to be unworthy of anything more than a cursory "FU love it or leave it". The HTC staff knows there are some issues to work out for those who patiently wait for a fix and who will remain loyal long term customers, and they will address those issues as fast as possible.
I'm not sure if you can see it but you made quite a short sighted statement, to say it nicely.
To illustrate, a complainer can be a loyal long term customer, as a long term loyal customer can be a complainer. This was demonstrated in many posts over the past couple of weeks.
With your logic, if someone is both, he deserves 'FU love it or leave it' and
also careful consideration as a long term customer?
