If I had to guess it should do self-shadowing fine. I use an 8800GT that delivers steady 59 - 60fr with all settings maxed, a 9800GTX should have no issue.
Everything turned on all the way up including shadows (both checked) holds steady at 57 had a lowest of 41 for a split second.  If I had to say an average it would be 57 or 56fps

Odd, I don't think I ever noticed that with mine, but it's very possible I just didn't notice it. Do you OC your GPUs by chance?

If you look close, you'll actually notice that it isn't white through the air vents and such. :aok
Just noticed it. Simply curious since I've been interested in the video business (Yes, cameras and backgrounds are included).

I've bought from TilDeath before, I've sent him people in the past and I would do so again in the future.

My system (a little bit beefier than the Mage) runs everything remarkably well and it doesn't even break a sweat in AH.

Bah. Two summers ago I turned on this "beast," the Playstation 2, old CRT TV, stereo, and N64 and got my room up to about 120 degrees F. :D I loved it, but mom couldn't stand to come through the door.

Lucky, without A/C I can do that with just my computer and PS3.

I don't get much help from the environment here, though. :)

Isn't there supposed to be a ribbon cable between the DVD drive and the IDE header on the mobo?    IS it removed for the pic or is there another method for connecting the DVD?   I dislike ribbon cables....

It's got a sata connector, you can see the red one for the HD and black for the DVD very clearly in the 2nd picture. If you look closely you can see the sata cable in the 1st pic also...

Yup, optical drives are coming in SATA now. I have one that's so fast it's crazy. What used to take hours to munch through burning copies of data CDs takes a few minutes.

oboe, you do know there are other forms of IDE cable than the traditional ribbon ones, right? Wires are wires, so many people have formed them into all different, more economical shapes. It's certainly worth looking into, since they cost maybe $2.

Both of my SATA cables are Black.   Only thing that should matter are the port colors on the MB.   I have a DVD Burner on a Black port (Slave) and RaptorX on a Red (Master) port.
