Dr. Vogt presented the design for the ' Emergency Fighter Progam" in Feb 1945.The design impressed the panel so much that although the Focke-WulfTa 183 was chosen for production, three prototypes of the BV 212 were ordered with construction begininng just as Germany faced the last few weeks of the war.

This airframe would have made a huge difference, if the time was permitted for it to be delivered.  I think that it would be a great addition to the ACE's High line up, and I am sure that it will make a difference in the game play, just don't perk it way too high.  This thing will put the 262 to shame.

Thanks for ya time

There are a few things that are considered a given when taking into account new planes to be introduced into the game.

1) Plane had to have progressed beyond the planning/design stage
2) Plane had to see operational service during the war
3) Plane had to have been produced before the war ended

The plane you wish for fails to meet those 3 simple things.  It never progressed beyond the planning stages as the war ended before construction could begin.  It never saw one day of operational service, in fact construction was never started on it.  The war officially ended in early May, construction was slated to begin in late May...see the problem?
