A nice 352nd FG story....

...from another forum.

At Oshkosh the Patillo brothers who flew combat with the 352nd FG were matched up with two restored P51Ds in each of their markings.  A nice thread with some great photos of them with the two 51s along with shots of them flying wing again in 'their' P51s.

WOW!  Are those the actual airframes?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?  What are the odds of getting two surviving brothers and their planes together 55 years later?

What an awesome story!  That might be the best story we see on these boards all year -- maybe ever.  Thanks for sharing, man!

I live next door to a gent that was a tail gunner out of Italy ... had to bail twice and has 7 kills notched on his belt ... quite the character.
