Terrain question for the Hitech crew
« on: June 21, 2000, 05:32:00 PM »
Hi all,

I was just wondering if there are any historical terrains in the works right now - I know the editor is in the works, but will we see new terrains after the editor is comleted, or possibly before?

A good pick would be the Central Med region (North central African coast, Malta, Sicily, Sardinia, tip of Italy).

AH is great, but I must say the current terrain is a little "weird".   Some airfield elevations go up to 10,000 feet! I do believe the highest airfield in the US is at 9k somewhere in Colorado.  ...not to mention the fields on top of mountains kindoff ruin the "feel" of WWII air combat - at least thats IMHO.

"Northolt Wing"

Don't worry rfa, when that terrain editor comes out I'll build us some good ones

Anyhow, I personally enjoyed this new release adn it sickens me to death knowing the only thing holding this game up now is the need for a fuller plane set.

The possibilties are endless with all the current features available (or soon to be).

I hope the boys are gonna go for a plane set push now....they got enough good features!

I'm sure that once the terrain editor is released, you will see just about every possible historical terrain that anyone could imagine   Or at least I hope

Thanks for your thoughts, and sorry for the late reply (was away for 2 days).

I really can't wait for this editor.

As soon as we finish patching this version, the next thing on our list is to get the editor out.
