posting a avatar
« on: August 19, 2009, 03:53:57 PM »
It seems no matter what I do I cant get the system to accept an avatar.

Even real small ones. Not in JPEG, or GIF, or any other compression. Is there some kinda trick Im missing?

Everyone has cool avatars then I. Some even move around and/or bounce boobs around. How the heck does one pull that off?

Thank you.

It could be that you are not using 80x80 dimension. I know it can't be any bigger than that, but I'm not sure if it can be smaller.

As for the moving around, I'm not exactly sure. I can use a GIF editor and create a slide show, but I don't know how I would get a smooth moving picture without using a hundred slides.

Perhaps what you need is one hundred 80x80 pictures put together in .GIF format?

Hello,

I had the same problem. I don't know how to create the bouncing boob effect but i used this site to make my avatar. http://www.shrinkpictures.com/create-avatar/

I found mine on theavatarist.com (i think that's what it's called).  There are many sites with avatars.  Not original, but it is a start. As far as showergirl, someone else I've only seen once (on another forum) did all the work and I stole it fair and square.  :devil

If you can't get it to work I might can mess with it in my spare time.  I'm really horrible at explaining things, but I wouldn't mind trying to do it if you can't get it.

Files must be less than 30kb

That INCLUDES all animated gif cells packed into a single file (meaning you can get it 80x80, it' can be a valid file, but if it's 1.25MB you won't be able to use it...)
